私の本棚 山小屋 古民家の光に包まれて
私の一番大切な本の一部を5月からかまくらの由比ガ浜にあるBOOKCAFFEすきま鎌倉に開架して貰うことにした。
アップサイクルをテーマにしたこの場所、山小屋のような古民家の光に包まれて私は本棚をここに置く。
ここに並ぶ他の本や広がる世界と対話し補い合うような響きあうような本を選んだ。私の人生がここで他の人と交差し
すればいいとも思うが、そうでなくてもいい。
私は、「Icon o graph」chris kyogetuの本を読み、改めてそう思う。
「しかし」是枝裕和 は「福祉の国のアリス」を書いた心やさしい厚生省と環境庁官僚 山内 豊徳 の人生を追いかけた本。
生活保護、障害者福祉、公害、水俣病に取り組み、政治と財政、経済と板挟みになって自殺した。山内の書く、詩、コラムは優しさと
知性と孤独が交じり合い、是枝裕和のドキュメンタリーがそれをめぐる日本の構造をあぶりだす。
私の生きたかった出来なかった生き方がそこにある。その私の感じた、非力さ、言葉の浅さを考える中で、
ドヤ街や各過疎地域をさまよう中で見出した世界。文字にならない豊かな言葉。それは、名もなき民衆の文字にならない言葉、生き方と歴史をあぶりだす、「生きなおすことば」を書いた一生を識字教育に取り組んだ 大沢 敏郎、そして、その世界と山村で流れゆく時間と生き方を日記のように、また理論的のまとめ上げた「里の在処」 内山 節
異国から、戻り、日本で苦しみ、社会を問い続け、偶然かかわった医療の世界で神に出合い、に人間存在を突き詰めるなかで出会いキリストに出会い暗中模索する中で見出した「Icon o graph」 を書いたchris kyogetuという小説家。
ギリシャ神話、シモ－ヌ ヴェイユ、医療、それぞれが、協奏曲、演劇の場面転換するように展開する小説、答えを教えない、示さない、厳しさと優しさにあふれた小説。盲従を許さないその作風が心地よい。
私は彼女小説世界を孤独に静かに味わい自分で考える、時間をかけて彼女が触れない、宇宙と神に思いを致す。「科学者はなぜ神を信じるのか」 三田 一郎
そして、わたしは、それらをすべて取り込んで、この世に生きる意味を問い前に進む、
あえて神が作った不完全な社会と心からにげない。「幸福の増税論」 井手 英策。

My Bookshelf, Enveloped in the Light of an Old Folk House
I have decided to make a selection of my most treasured books available for public access starting in May at BOOKCAFE Sukima in Yuigahama, Kamakura. Set in a place themed around upcycling, this venue bathed in the light reminiscent of a mountain cabin is where I have placed my bookshelf.
I chose books that resonate and complement the other books here and the wider world they inhabit. I hope my life intersects with others here, but it's also fine if it doesn't.
I think this again after reading "Icon o graph" by Chris Kyogetu.
"However," Hirokazu Koreeda's book "The Alice of the Welfare Country" follows the compassionate life of Toyotoku Yamauchi, a bureaucrat from the Ministry of Health and the Environment Agency.
He dealt with welfare, disability services, pollution, and Minamata disease, and was caught between politics, finance, and the economy, eventually leading to his suicide. Yamauchi's poetry and columns blend kindness, intelligence, and loneliness, and Koreeda's documentary highlights the structures of Japan surrounding it.
There, I see the life I wanted but couldn't have. In contemplating my own powerlessness and the superficiality of words,
While wandering through flophouse towns and depopulated areas, I discovered a world. Words rich beyond writing. These are the unspoken words and ways of life of nameless common folk, illuminated by Toshiro Osawa in "Words to Live Again," who devoted his life to literacy education. And the time and way of life flowing through mountain villages, organized theoretically like a diary in "The Locale of the Village" by Setsu Uchiyama.
Returning from abroad, suffering in Japan, continually questioning society, accidentally involved in the medical world, meeting God, and searching in the dark until meeting Christ, Chris Kyogetu, the novelist who wrote "Icon o graph."
Greek mythology, Simone Weil, medicine, each unfolds like a concerto or a scene change in a play, a novel filled with harshness and kindness that does not instruct or show the answers. I enjoy her literary world in solitude, quietly reflecting, taking time to contemplate the universe and God, which she does not touch. "Why Scientists Believe in God" by Ichiro Mita.
And thus, I take all these in, questioning the meaning of life in this world, moving forward,
daring not to flee from the imperfect society created by God. "The Tax Increase Theory of Happiness" by Eikaku Ide.
